Our Leadership

Michael Allen is Chief Financial Officer and President of the Financial Services Division of Hackensack Meridian Health, roles he assumed in December 2024. Hackensack Meridian Health is an integrated healthcare system headquartered in Edison, New Jersey, with more than $9 billion in annual revenue and $12 billion in assets, encompassing academic medical centers, children’s hospitals, a school of medicine, a research division, and a physician enterprise.

In his current role, Mr. Allen leads all financial services for the health system and plays a central role in integrating financial and strategic planning, modernizing the organization’s analytics platform, and supporting partnership and merger and acquisition activity across the enterprise.

Prior to joining Hackensack Meridian Health, Mr. Allen held senior financial leadership roles at OSF HealthCare in Peoria, Illinois, and Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
