HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY

Med-Metrix, LLC and its affiliates and agents (collectively, “Med-Metrix,” “we” or “us”) has provided this Privacy Policy so that you know how information about you is collected, used and shared. For the purposes of our website maintained at www.med-metrix.com (the “Site”), this Privacy Policy specifically describes what information we collect about you, how we collect it, how we use it, with whom we may share it, and what choices you have regarding it.  Please note that Med-Metrix’s practices with respect to data collected and used by it in connection with the Site and Med-Metrix products and services available or enabled via the Site are governed by our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy (each as amended from time to time), and supersedes prior versions of our terms of use and/or privacy policy, including those which preceding versions which may have been in effect at the time the data was collected. This Privacy Policy does not govern privacy practices associated with offline activities and websites other than the Site, or products and services not available or enabled via the Site. We encourage you to become familiar with the terms and conditions of both this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.  Please note, additional privacy policies and notices may apply and be provided depending on the nature of your interaction with Med-Metrix.  Your company’s agreement with Med-Metrix may also impact the processing of information by us which is provided by your company or in your activities with us or this Site pursuant to your company’s agreement or requested transaction with us.

This Privacy Policy does not relate to job applicants.  Please refer to the terms of use and privacy policy associated with the portal through which you may apply for employment with Med-Metrix.   

This Privacy Policy also does not apply to data processed through our products and services.  That data and its processing is governed by our contracts with our customers. 


WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT FROM THE PEOPLE THAT VISIT OUR WEBSITE?

We may collect certain identifying information from or about you in connection with your use of or submissions to the Site (collectively, the “Collected Information”). For example, if you request information from us through the Site, you may submit your name and contact information, such as your email address, mailing address, or telephone number, to us.  If you wish to subscribe to a newsletter we offer or to a mailing list that we maintain, we will collect from you contact information necessary to send the newsletter or other information to you. This is usually limited to your e-mail address but may include other information. 

PLEASE ONLY SEND TO US BUSINESS CONTACT INFORMATIONOur products and services are provided to business customers only.  We do not offer or sell our products or services to individual consumers. We do not need, nor do we want to receive, any personal contact information.  Please only communicate with us using business email addresses, business phone numbers and your company-issued devices.  We are relying upon you to comply with this directive.  If you nevertheless provide to us personal contact information and/or personal devices, you are doing so at your own risk, and to the fullest extent allowed by law, you hereby release us from any liability associated with the processing of that personal contact information. 

In addition, we may retain the content of, and metadata regarding, any correspondence you may have with us or our representatives, regardless of the mode of communication by which such correspondence was made. This information helps us to improve the Site and the online media, content, materials, opportunities, and services that we feature or describe on the Site, and to more effectively and efficiently respond to both current and future inquiries. 

As with many other websites, the Web servers used to operate the Site may collect certain data pertaining to you and the equipment and communications method that you use to access the Internet and the Site. For security reasons and to confirm the integrity of our data, Med-Metrix may combine components of this data with other sources of information which may identify you. Unless otherwise described in this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use, such identifying information will be used solely for our internal business purposes. In addition, the information we collect may reveal such things as the Internet protocol (“IP”) address assigned to your computer, specific pages that you accessed on the Site or immediately prior to visiting the Site, and the length of time you spent at the Site. The purposes for which this information is collected and used include facilitating Site operation and system administration, generating aggregate, non-identifiable statistical information, monitoring and analyzing Site traffic and usage patterns, and improving the content and content delivery with regard to the Site and the online media, content, materials, opportunities, and services that we describe or make available on the Site. 

We do not collect any personal sensitive information, nor should you provide any personal sensitive information to us through this Site.  If your business requires you to you to establish an account through this Site, you are hereby directed to use a password unique ONLY to this Site.  DO NOT USE THE SAME PASSWORD THAT YOU USE TO ACCESS ANY OTHER ACCOUNTS OR SERVICES, WHETHER BUSINESS OR PERSONAL.  We are relying upon you to comply with this directive; and, should you not comply, to the fullest extent allowed by law, you expressly release us from any liability associated with our processing of that information.   

Note:  if you are an employee or potential employment candidate with Med-Metrix, certain sensitive personal information is collected.  For applicants applying through the portal to which you may link from this Site, please see more information before you submit any information.  For employees of Med-Metrix, please see your manager or our human resources director for more information as to the information collected and maintained and your rights regarding that information.


HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION? 

Depending on where you live, how you interact with our Sitewe may use your information for our legitimate business purposes, including to: 

  • Allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests; 

  • Perform data analytics (including market research, trend analysis, financial analysis); 

  • Operate, evaluate, develop, manage and improve our Siteproducts and services;

We may share your information with certain third parties, such as business partners, advertising networks, marketing partners, data analytics providers, online and offline data collectors, operating systems and platforms, and service providers who provide us a service (e.g., credit / debit card processing, billing, customer service, auditing, marketing, debugging to identify and repair error and/or protecting against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity).  These service providers and third parties are bound contractually to only use your personal information for the limited purpose for which we share that information, and for no other purposes.  We do not share your personal information with any third party to conduct targeted advertising. 

  • Business Transfers (also referred to sometimes as “Onward Transfers”). We may transfer your information as part of a corporate business transaction, such as a merger or acquisition, joint venture, corporate reorganization, financing, or sale of company assetsOther than to the extent ordered by a court proceeding, the use and disclosure of all transferred information will be subject to this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise provided.

We do not sell or trade your personally identifiable information to third parties (except in relation to a Business Transfer.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We keep your information for as long as necessary in accordance with the purposes for which it was collected, our business needs, and applicable legal and regulatory obligations. LINKS TO OTHER SITES

We may, from time to time, offer links to other websites from our Site. By way of example, when you apply for a job with us, you will be directed to our third-party resource for receiving, vetting and managing potential candidates and their submissions.  Similarly, third party payment processors may be used to process your payments.  These third parties have terms of use and privacy policies that are different than ours. We recommend you review such site’s terms of use and privacy policies prior to use or submitting any information to them While we have contracts in place with our service providers and third parties providers, you are responsible to review their separate privacy policy and terms of use before you choose to send to them, or allow them to access, your personal information when you link so such third party sites. We cannot verify, warrant, endorse or take responsibility for the availability, accuracy, completeness, quality, practices, or policies of such sites or content available from such sites. We do not make any representations or warranties as to the security of any information you choose to provide to, or allow access to by, any third party.


COOKIES AND RELATED TECHNOLOGIES

From time to time, our Site may collect and share your information through the use of cookies, pixels, and related technologies for the purpose of identifying and authenticating users, preventing fraud, enhancing our Site, and to tailor content to you (but we do not use the same for target advertising).  Cookies are small information files that our Site place on your computer or other devices. Our Site may, from time to time, collect information about your online activities, over time and across different sites and applications. At present, we also use Marketo cookies and resources.  Marketo defines its cookies and their uses on its website at Cookies Policy » Marketo Documents,  To opt out of Marketo cookies used on our Site, please email privacy@med-metrix.com.  If you opt out of these cookies, you will not be able to use certain resources and forms on our site.


YOUR CHOICES

We provide you the ability to exercise certain controls and choices regarding your information. To exercise any of the rights described below, send your request to privacy@med-metrix.comWe will respond to your request as soon as possible and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.  Note that we may not be able to honor your request if to do so would conflict with our contract with or transactions with your business, where needed to enforce or defend our rights, and/or where we are required to maintain your information by law, subject to our verification of your identity before we process your request.   

  • Correct Your Information. Depending on where you live, you may have a right to request that we correct incorrect or inaccurate information about you. If appropriate, we will use reasonable efforts to allow you to update or correct the information we collect from and about you. 

  • Access Your Information. Depending on where you live, you may have a right to know what information we have collected about or from you, how that information is being used, and with whom it is being shared. 

  • Delete Your Information. Depending on where you live, and subject to certain exceptions recognized by applicable law, you may have a right to ask that we delete your information.

WE DO NOT KNOWINGLY COLLECT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT CHILDREN

Our Site and our products and services are intended for businesses and their personnel.
